The "MAN'S" Annual Deficit Syndrome Moment

Australian Aboriginal boxer Anthony Mundine refuses to stand for the Australian national anthem because he says it is racist.  One could argue that he is the one who is being racist

Isn't this wannabe Muhammed Ali, just another one of those frustrating and kinda boring gifts that keeps on giving?

Honestly now, it's no longer showmanship he's just embarrassing to all Australians & especially to himself, he aint no Gentlemen Jim, that's for sure.

I use to think that he really did believe in this rubbish that spews from his hypocritical mind and mouth, and although I disagreed strongly with his many gaffes and points, I did kinda admired his conviction ...but now I'm convinced that by the amount of times these outlandish statements come out, combined with the usual timing of the up and coming bout, that these things are just unimaginative publicity stunts and complement what has got to be his "Atttention Deficit Syndrome".

I hope Danny Green knocks his block off this fight, not because of anything he says or thinks, but just to help him on his way to retirement. Opening the pages of the Australian Boxing News to some real fighters, fighters with style and class!

Below are the official words of the anthem.  Where's the racism?  In the head of Mundine only, it would seem.

Advance Australia fair

Australians all let us rejoice
For we are young and free
We've golden soil and wealth for toil,
Our home is girt by sea:
Our land abounds in nature's gifts
Of beauty rich and rare,
In history's page let every stage
Advance Australia fair,
In joyful strains then let us sing
Advance Australia fair.

Beneath our radiant Southern Cross,
We'll toil with hearts and hands,
To make this Commonwealth of ours
Renowned of all the lands,
For those who've come across the seas
We've boundless plains to share,
With courage let us all combine
To advance Australia fair.
In joyful strains then let us sing,
Advance Australia fair.

I wonder how our new Health Minister is going?

All the New President and New Premier stuff is finally starting to ease. It was all the predictable comments from the usual suspects so I am pleased I didn't add to the babble of it all , period!

Did you notice the silence regarding our New Health Minister?
No one is talking about the New Guy looking after what is arguably in the top 5 Ministerial Portfolios in Government.

Well here's what I reckon.  I wonder if he'll be up to the job of being able to handle so many different stakeholders,  all with their own individual issues, that can only be dealt with  by his Ministry?

Seems that the current PM thinks that he can, so this next year will again put Turnbull's decision making ability the test.

I wish Hunt well of course but wonder if he has what it takes, time will tell.
